We will be PRE - SELLING wristbands for event entry FRIDAY night before the start of the event at The Moshofsky Arena (next to Autzen Stadium) in Eugene from 5pm - 9pm. This will shorten lines on Saturday. Regular sales of wristbands will be available every day of the event at each playing site.

RECOMMEND teams get a couple of parents to get orders from families and buy them all Friday night at Moshofsky Center from 5pm to 10PM…collect money in advance and pay with one credit card. This will save waiting in lines at all playing sites Saturday morning.

The Matt Hartner Memorial (MHM) Volleyball Classic is one of the West Coast's premier MLK weekend club tournaments. The event is hosted at The University of Oregon's state-of-the-art Moshofsky Sports Center with 16 courts, 11 courts at Bob Keefer Center in Springfield & 6 courts at Mac Court - Student Rec Center. The event in the psst years has hosted to 264 high school age teams from Washington, Oregon, Canada, Idaho, Montana, California, Alaska & Puert Rico & Hawaii. Our event was founded in 2010 by Matt Hartner & was originally called the Oregon MLK Classic. In 2014, with the passing of Matt Hartner, the event was re-named in his honor. Matt was a member of University of Oregon Volleyball program from 2002 thru 2010. Beginning as student manager, then graduate assistant & running the summer camps.

General Info & Ticketing

All wristband sales will available at all playing sites starting the day of the event.

Pre-sale of tickets Friday night January 17th at the Moshofsky Center Arena (next to Autzen Stadium) from 5pm till 9pm.

Admission to ALL playing sites will be $20. for 3 & 2 day passes. One day pass $10. Kids under 16 are FREE. Team registered club director, coaches & players also FREE.

18's/17's will begin play at 8:00 am with 2 divisions (104 teams)

16's/15's will begin play at 3:00 pm with 3 divisions (160 teams)

Note 28 teams in the 15s & 16s age group will play Saturday AM. These teams will be mostly from CEVA region. Teams will be notified in advance. Check with club director.

Schedule and format is handled through AES. (Advanced event systems)

There is not separate division for 17s & 15s. (18s & 17s) (16s & 15s)
Event fee for 2025 is $795.00 per team

College Coaches

University Athlete is used as the event's recruiting information tool. Coaches, please make sure & register with UA. NOTE: Our event does not control this list. It is done by University Athlete & most schools don’t register till just before the event.
Collegiate coach registration will be available after team registration has closed.

Cost per coach is $10.

Free wristbands for college coaches. Pick up at the tournament desk at any playing site.

All coolers must be kept in large tent outside. Lots of food vendors in the arena. Eating area provided inside the arena. This area is for while eating only. Please be courteous and leave the area clean when you are done eating. NO team camping at the tables and chairs eating area.Outside chairs only in camping area. RV parking allowed overnight in Autzen use Entry 4 parking lot. NO fires-bbq. sideways parking or awnings out. It is a normal parking lot.

McCarthur Court Arena

Lots of camping inside of Mac Court. Food &coolers allowed in the camping area only. All street parking is free all 3 days on University and on campus. 18th St. parking is metered by City of Eugene. No outside chairs in the court areas. Seating provided. Entry to ALL 6 courts is thru the SW entrance doors to Mac Court on University St. Cts 31, 32, 33 inside of Mac Court. Cts. 28,29,30 in the Student Rec Center

NO overnight RV parking allowed. Coffee cart should be located on site. No outside chairs allowed around the courts. Coolers allowed in the designated inside camping area only.
