HOW IS MHM SEEDED?

It is difficult since we are the first event of the year. Phone calls are made to help with seeding and since seeding has to be done and formatted on AES before most regions have any power leagues, the criteria below is used. The earliness of our event is one of the reasons why we use two or three divisions in an age group; it allows teams that may be under-seeded or over-seeded to move up or down . When seeding, we consider:

1. Past history of team/club in MHM

2. If available - current regional power league results

3. If available - Preseason seeds by each region for the current year. Note: some regions do a separate power league for 15’s & 17’s - in those seed situations those teams will be factored in as if they were combined with the 16’s or 18’s age group.
